Admission Policies & Procedures

All students must be Bible-believing Christians and have demonstrated a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Undergraduates must have a high school diploma and a GPA of 2.0 or better.

 Students must submit 3 letters of reference (not from relatives). Applicants are considered without regard to sex, race, handicap, or national origin.

 STATEMENT OF FAITH

All students must indicate that they will respect our doctrinal position by signing and returning a copy of the Statement of Faith.

 PERSONAL HOLINESS

Students of  CBDC must make a commitment to strive for personal holiness and separation from worldly living. Students must make a diligent effort to daily read God’s Word, pray daily, attend a Bible believing church, and see their activities are becoming of a Christian. They pledge to honor the Lord with holy living according to Colossians chapter 3.

 SPECIAL ADMISSION

Recognizing that not all students have educational backgrounds which fit the Application for Admission form, CBDC will consider on an individual basis applications for enrollment from students with irregular educational backgrounds.

Students, who do not meet the academic requirements, may apply for admission on a probationary status. If accepted, the student has one semester to demonstrate passing performance.

 NON-DEGREE PROGRAM

 A student who wishes to take CBDC courses, but has no desire to graduate or pursue a specified degree, may enroll in the Non-Degree Program.

 TRANSFER STUDENT

 Students who transfer to CBDC from another college with be provided a required course list after transcripts have been received and credit applied. Transfer students simply order required and recommended course needed to complete their degree. Students who have been accepted into the CBDC, but their official transcript have not arrived at CBDC, may order and begin any desired course at the risk that the course may not be required.

CBDC recognizes the work completed in other institutions of equivalent standing on the following basis:

  1. An equivalent grade of “C” or higher.
  2. The courses must be in line with those offered by CBDC.
  3. Every student receiving a degree from CBDC must complete at least 32 credit hours from CBDC for a B.A. Degree.
